Located in the heart of Little Five Points, Java Lords serves 100% Fair Trade/Organic coffee that is sure to help awaken your tired gray matter. It doesn’t hurt that they employ a hot staff of chicks for everyone to fall in love with. Tuesday nights are reserved for Open Mic, beginning around 10p.m. and lasting into the wee hours of the morning. Be on the lookout for shitheads if you’re into local music though.
Friday and Saturday nights they host Midnight Movies next door at 7 Stages Theatre. Past movies have ranged from the likes of The Big Lebowski to Heavy Metal. Admission is $5 and benefits something or other. Try the Lazarus Cup if shits and giggles are your thing, otherwise the regular coffee will suffice.
